Illegal Wells Discovered in Karak and Deir Alla; One Sealed

Jordan's Ministry of Water and Irrigation, represented by its Internal Control Unit, detected two illegal groundwater wells in Karak and Balqa governorates during a security operation carried out on Monday in coordination with the Public Security Directorate, Miyah Karak Company, the Water Basins Administration, and the Central Workshops Department.اضافة اعلان

The ministry said the campaign uncovered an illegal well in Karak that was being used to supply water to a private chalet without authorization, in addition to another illegal well in the Deir Alla area.

According to the ministry, the violations were removed, one of the illegal wells was sealed, and the necessary legal reports were filed in both cases as authorities proceed with legal action against those responsible.
