Global prices of gasoline grades recorded notable increases during the second week of March, according to the international price bulletin, with varying rises affecting gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and fuel oil, while the price of liquefied petroleum gas remained stable.اضافة اعلان

According to data published by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (Jordan), the average price of gasoline (Octane 95) rose to $1,169 per ton, compared with $902 in the first week of the month, marking an increase of about 29.6%.

The average price of gasoline (Octane 90) also increased to $1,073 per ton, up from $857 in the first week, representing a 25.2% rise.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel climbed to $1,271 per ton, compared with $988, reflecting a 28.6% increase, while kerosene rose to $1,346 per ton, up from $1,290, an increase of 4.3%.

In the same context, fuel oil recorded the largest increase among petroleum derivatives, jumping to $752 per ton, compared with $566, a rise of 32.9%.

In contrast, the average price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remained stable during March at $541 per ton, unchanged from its level in February.

As for crude oil, the average price of Brent crude oil rose during the second week of March to $96 per barrel, compared with $85 in the first week, marking an increase of 12.9%.
