Saudi Arabia reaffirmed on Tuesday that it will not hesitate to take the necessary steps and measures to confront any infringement or threat to its national security. It also reiterated its commitment to Yemen’s security, stability, and sovereignty, and its full support for the Chairman of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council and his government.

During a Cabinet session, the Saudi Council of Ministers commended the role of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen in protecting civilians in the governorates of Hadramout and Al-Mahrah, in response to a request by the Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, and in de-escalating tensions to achieve security and stability and prevent the expansion of the conflict.
Saudi Arabia expressed its hope that wisdom will prevail, with the prioritization of the principles of brotherhood, good neighborliness, the close relations binding the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the best interests of Yemen.
