Haaretz: At Least 15 Israeli Soldiers Have Died by Suicide Since the Beginning of the Year

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Tuesday a rise in the number of suicides among Israeli soldiers since the beginning of the current year.

According to the report, at least 15 soldiers have taken their own lives while on duty since January.

The majority of these soldiers, the paper noted, were reservists called up for active service during the ongoing war, many of whom experienced intense combat situations that had a severe impact on their mental health.
