The Egypt–European Union Summit, which concluded its sessions in Brussels, called on all parties to continue efforts to implement the U.S. plan aimed at ending the war in the Gaza Strip.

In its final communiqué, the summit emphasized the importance of accelerating the delivery of unhindered humanitarian aid and restoring essential services in the Strip, particularly in the health sector.
The summit also stressed the need to achieve a lasting peace based on the two-state solution in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions, while rejecting any attempts at annexation or the forced displacement of Palestinians.
Furthermore, the summit expressed its support for the Palestinian Authority and its reform program, including the strengthening of its security forces and unification of the West Bank and Gaza under a single administration. It reaffirmed its commitment to the reconstruction of Gaza through the international conference to be hosted by Egypt once a ceasefire is firmly established.
