Nine Israeli soldiers were injured on Thursday in a ramming attack at a bus stop in Kfar Yona, central Israel, prompting a large-scale police manhunt for the suspected driver who fled the scene.

According to Israel Hayom, nine individuals were wounded in what is believed to be a vehicular attack. Israeli emergency services reported that six of the victims sustained moderate injuries, while three suffered minor wounds.
Police forces were quickly mobilized in the area to search for the driver suspected of carrying out the attack, though no details have yet been released about the suspect’s identity.
Israeli media confirmed that all those injured in the incident were soldiers who had been at the bus stop in Kfar Yona at the time of the attack.
Channel 12 reported that the driver fled the scene after hitting the soldiers. Police are currently investigating the incident and have deployed helicopters in the ongoing search for the suspect.
