Washington Approves $6.5 Billion Sale of Apache Helicopters and Vehicles to Israel

According to two separate Pentagon statements, the State Department approved:

A potential sale of light tactical vehicles and related equipment valued at approximately $1.98 billion.

A sale of AH-64E Apache helicopters worth $3.8 billion.

A third military contract valued at $740 million was also approved.

The primary contractor for the first deal is AM General, while Boeing and Lockheed Martin are the main contractors for the Apache helicopter sale.
