The data showed that 209,223 Jordanians visited Turkey between January and the end of September 2026, compared with 226,789 during the same period in 2025, a decrease of 17,566 visitors.

The figures also indicate a continued decline compared with 2024, when 250,910 Jordanians visited Turkey during the first nine months of the year. This represents a 16.6% decrease in 2026 compared with the same period two years earlier.

In September alone, however, the number of Jordanian visitors to Turkey increased by 4.5% to 34,444, compared with 32,953 in September 2025, an increase of 1,491 visitors.

April recorded the sharpest monthly decline in Jordanian arrivals to Turkey this year, with the number falling to 9,645 from 19,211 in the same month of 2025, a decrease of approximately 49.8%.

The decline also continued in February and March. Jordanian arrivals fell to 10,092 in February, compared with 14,428 a year earlier, down 30.1%. In March, the number dropped to 7,205 from 10,789 in March 2025, a decrease of 33.2%.

By contrast, the data showed increases in Jordanian visitor numbers in May, July, August and September compared with the corresponding months last year. Arrivals rose by 5.9% in May, 2.9% in July, 3.4% in August and 4.5% in September.

As for total foreign tourist arrivals in Turkey, the country received 40,938,498 visitors between January and the end of September 2026, compared with 41,568,597 during the same period last year, representing a decline of approximately 1.5%.

The decline in Jordanian tourist arrivals during the first nine months of this year therefore exceeded the overall decrease in foreign tourist arrivals to Turkey, according to the Turkish ministry's figures.

The data show that Jordanian tourism to Turkey recovered on an annual basis in September, despite the continued decline in cumulative visitor numbers since the beginning of the year.
