Health Minister Opens New Units at Al-Bashir Hospitals
Minister of Health Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badour on Sunday inaugurated the Neurosurgery Operating Unit and the Biological Therapy Department at Al-Bashir Hospitals in Amman, while inspecting work on the rehabilitation of the Chest Diseases Building.اضافة اعلان
The visit comes as part of the Ministry of Health’s plan to develop the infrastructure of its hospitals and health centers, improve operational efficiency and enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens. The plan is being implemented in line with Prime Minister Jafar Hassan’s directives to upgrade the infrastructure of health facilities operated by the ministry and improve the level of services provided to citizens.
The Neurosurgery Operating Unit includes two operating rooms equipped with modern technology, along with recovery and reception rooms. The facility is expected to strengthen the hospital’s capacity to perform specialized surgical procedures, enhance the readiness of the Surgery Hospital at Al-Bashir, provide patients with the necessary medical care and reduce waiting times for scheduled operations.
The Biological Therapy Department includes 16 beds dedicated to providing biological treatments for day-care patients. The department is intended to increase capacity, organize service delivery and facilitate patients’ access to the treatments they require.
Al-Badour also reviewed progress on the rehabilitation of the Chest Diseases Building, with work having started 10 days ago and expected to be completed within two months.
The project is aimed at improving the healthcare environment as part of the ministry’s efforts to continue developing health facilities and improve the efficiency of their use, ultimately enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens.
