According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, Thursday’s weather will be generally cloudy and cold across most regions, while conditions will be slightly cooler in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Light and intermittent rainfall is expected in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, accompanied by active southeasterly winds. There is also a possibility of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust in desert areas.

The Department said a relative improvement in temperatures is expected on Friday, with a noticeable rise. However, the weather will remain cold in most regions and slightly warmer in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at various altitudes, with a chance of scattered rain showers during the early morning hours in parts of the Kingdom, which may at times be accompanied by thunder in the northern and eastern regions. Winds will be moderate westerly, becoming active at times.

On Saturday, temperatures will drop slightly compared to the previous day. Cold conditions will prevail in most regions, while the weather will be pleasant in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at different altitudes, with a chance of light, scattered rainfall in the afternoon over the northern and central regions and parts of the eastern areas. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally becoming active.

On Sunday, the weather will tend toward relative stability. Conditions will remain cold in most regions and slightly warmer in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some clouds at various altitudes. Cold weather will prevail at night, especially over high mountainous areas.

The Meteorological Department warned of the risk of reduced horizontal visibility during the early morning hours due to fog, particularly over mountainous areas and plains, as well as the possibility of slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall.

It also urged the public to follow periodic updates and take issued warnings into consideration, especially during the early morning and nighttime hours.
