Weather conditions on Saturday will be cold across most regions, while relatively mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some clouds will appear at various altitudes, with light southeasterly winds turning moderate northwesterly in the afternoon.
In its report, the Meteorological Department warned of reduced horizontal visibility during the morning hours due to fog over mountainous areas, as well as the possibility of frost formation over high mountain elevations and parts of the Badia and plains.
By Sunday morning, the Kingdom will be affected by a shallow low-pressure system accompanied by a cold air mass, leading to a slight drop in temperatures. The weather will be cold and partly cloudy to cloudy, with intermittent rainfall—God willing—over northern parts of the Kingdom, gradually extending to central and eastern regions. Rainfall may be heavy over short periods, especially in the north, and could be accompanied by thunder and hail. Light rain showers are also expected in parts of the southwestern regions. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally becoming active.
On Monday, temperatures will drop slightly. The weather will remain cold and partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with a weak chance of light rain during the morning hours in western parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally active.
On Tuesday, temperatures will rise slightly. The weather will remain cold across most regions and relatively cold in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high-level clouds appearing. Winds will be light southeasterly.
Today’s maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to range between 13–6°C in East Amman, 11–4°C in West Amman, 11–4°C in the northern highlands, 10–3°C in the Sharah Highlands, 15–4°C in the Badia regions, 13–5°C in the plains, 19–8°C in the northern Jordan Valley, 21–11°C in the southern Jordan Valley, 20–11°C at the Dead Sea, and 21–10°C in the Gulf of Aqaba.
