AMMAN — Jordan will continue to experience relatively hot weather across most regions on Wednesday, while conditions will remain very hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
Northwesterly moderate winds are expected, with occasional active gusts.
The department warned of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust in Badia areas and advised the public to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours. It also urged residents not to light fires in forested and open areas and to avoid leaving children or elderly people inside parked vehicles.
On Thursday, the influence of the hot air mass will begin to weaken, with temperatures expected to drop slightly and return to around their seasonal averages. Weather conditions will become typically summer-like across most parts of the Kingdom, while remaining hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds will continue, becoming active at times.
A slight further decrease in temperatures is forecast for Friday, bringing typical summer weather to most areas, with hot conditions persisting in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low clouds are expected to appear, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds with occasional stronger gusts.
Similar weather is expected on Saturday, with seasonally normal summer conditions across most regions and hot weather continuing in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low clouds will remain possible, while moderate northwesterly winds will occasionally become active.
