Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to be slightly above their seasonal averages, with moderate conditions prevailing over the high mountain areas, relatively hot weather in the plains and hot conditions elsewhere.
Winds will be moderate, blowing from the northeast to northwest and occasionally picking up.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Amman will range between 35°C and 21°C, compared with 32°C and 19°C in western Amman, 30°C and 17°C in the northern highlands, and 29°C and 16°C in the Sharah highlands.
Temperatures in the Badia are expected to range between 37°C and 20°C, while the plains will see 34°C and 21°C. In the Northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will reach 40°C and 26°C, compared with 41°C and 28°C in the Southern Jordan Valley, 41°C and 26°C at the Dead Sea, and 40°C and 26°C in Aqaba.
Moderate weather will continue on Wednesday in the high mountain areas, while conditions will be relatively hot in the plains and hot elsewhere. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally picking up.
On Thursday, temperatures will drop slightly. Moderate weather is expected in the mountain areas and plains, while the Badia will see relatively hot conditions. It will remain hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with moderate northwesterly winds occasionally picking up.
On Friday, moderate conditions will prevail in the mountain areas and plains, while the Badia will be relatively hot and the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba will remain hot. Low-level clouds are also expected over northern and central parts of the Kingdom, with moderate northwesterly winds occasionally picking up.
