According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Amman will range between 34°C and 21°C, compared with 32°C and 19°C in western Amman, 30°C and 18°C in the northern highlands, and 31°C and 19°C in the Sharah highlands.
Temperatures in the Badia will range between 37°C and 23°C, 34°C and 21°C in the plains, 41°C and 26°C in the northern Jordan Valley, 40°C and 28°C in the southern Jordan Valley, 41°C and 27°C at the Dead Sea, and 40°C and 27°C in Aqaba.
On Thursday, Jordan will be affected by a hot air mass moving from the Arabian Peninsula, bringing a slight rise in temperatures. The weather will become hot in most areas and very hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate and northeasterly, occasionally picking up, particularly in the Badia.
Temperatures will rise slightly again on Friday, with hot conditions expected in most areas and very hot weather in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate and northeasterly and may raise dust in the Badia.
