According to forecasts, cloud cover is expected to increase across the Kingdom during the afternoon and evening, with a possibility that some clouds may develop into convective cumulonimbus clouds within narrow and limited geographical pockets, especially over parts of northern Jordan.
Consequently, there is a chance of localized rain showers in parts of northern Jordan, including areas of the Ghor region. A weak possibility remains for some of these showers to extend locally and temporarily toward parts of central Jordan, including the Dead Sea area.
These showers remain potential rather than certain and are expected to be limited in geographical scope and duration. However, should they occur, they may occasionally be accompanied by lightning and thunder.
This comes as the region is influenced by a limited state of atmospheric instability, whose effects are concentrated primarily over Syria and, to a lesser extent, parts of Lebanon, with some fringe impacts extending toward the southern Levant.
Regarding Palestine, clouds are also expected to appear periodically in scattered areas—particularly over parts of the West Bank during the afternoon and evening hours—with a chance of local thundershowers.
