Temperatures are expected to rise slightly across Jordan on Sunday, with moderate weather prevailing in most areas and hot conditions in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, winds will be northwesterly and moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active during the evening hours.

Jordan will be affected on Monday by a thermal surface low-pressure system accompanied by a hot air mass, causing temperatures to rise significantly to around 4–5 degrees Celsius above their seasonal averages.

The weather is expected to become hot across most parts of the Kingdom and very hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally becoming active.

Hot conditions will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, with very hot weather expected in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will be moderate, becoming active in the afternoon and raising dust, particularly in the Badia areas.

Today, temperatures in eastern Amman are expected to range between 35°C and 23°C, while in western Amman they will range between 32°C and 21°C. Temperatures in the northern highlands are expected to range between 30°C and 19°C, and in the Sharah Highlands between 29°C and 18°C.

In the Badia, temperatures will range between 38°C and 24°C, while the plains will see temperatures between 34°C and 24°C. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will reach 40°C, with a low of 28°C, while the southern Jordan Valley will reach 43°C, with a low of 30°C.

Temperatures in the Dead Sea are expected to range between 42°C and 28°C, while the Aqaba Gulf will see temperatures between 42°C and 29°C.
