According to a statement published by the Syrian news agency SANA, security units are currently working to fully secure these areas, alongside intensive operations to track down remaining escaped ISIS prisoners.

Syrian security forces entered Al-Hol Camp—which houses families of ISIS members in northeastern Syria—on Wednesday, following the withdrawal of Kurdish forces, according to AFP reporters.

The ministry also began completing detailed data collection to restore full security within Al-Hol and other security centers, ensuring that security breaches do not recur.

A strong warning was issued to civilians: approaching these sites is strictly prohibited, and any attempt to enter or be near these zones will result in legal accountability and strict prosecution.

Previously, the SDF announced their withdrawal from Al-Hol Camp, home to more than 24,000 residents—including 15,000 Syrians, 3,500 Iraqis, and 6,200 foreigners. The camp had been under heavy guard, while the Syrian Defense Ministry stated it is ready to take full control of Al-Hol and all ISIS-related detention facilities.
