National team jet off to Iran camp

AMMAN — A delegation from the national taekwondo team left for Iran on Thursday for a training camp that has been scheduled to run until July 19, in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.اضافة اعلان

In remarks on the sidelines of the delegation’s most recent event, the team’s technical director Fares Al-Assaf said: “We are looking forward to seeing Saleh Al-Sharabati and Juliana Al-Sadeq fully prepared and sparring in competitive training matches with Iran’s strong athletes.”

He continued: The athletes’ morale is at its peak, following the pleasing results at the Asia and Beirut open tournaments, which was a real chance to prepare for the Tokyo Olympics.”
