Saudi Arabia Resumes Oil Exports via East-West Pipeline

Saudi Arabia has resumed oil exports through the East-West pipeline after repairs were completed following drone attacks on the pipeline earlier this month, Bloomberg reported.اضافة اعلان

According to the agency, Saudi Aramco conducted tests on the East-West pipeline last week and began increasing pressure in the system, with the aim of restoring significant flows by the end of the week.

Exports by sea have now resumed, Bloomberg added.

The East-West pipeline was targeted several times around two weeks ago in the Riyadh and Medina regions.

Earlier, three sources familiar with the matter said Saudi Arabia had resumed operations on the East-West pipeline.

Two of the sources said at the time that oil was being pumped through the pipeline at a reduced rate.
