With this result, Saudi Arabia raised its tally to 6 points at the top of Group A following its second consecutive win, after defeating Kuwait 1-0 in the opening round, bringing its total to four goals scored with zero conceded.
Saudi Arabia concludes the group stage against Iraq on Tuesday, while Oman faces Kuwait on the same day.
