U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the United States is dealing with individuals in Iran who are willing to reach an agreement.
He stated that the Iranians “want to make a deal,” adding that Washington is engaging with parties that “want to make a deal at any cost.”
Trump added, “We’ll see whether they agree or not.”
He also claimed that the Iranians are “unable to move any ships in or out,” noting that the United States had carried out “an incredible job during operations against Iran.”
The U.S. president stressed that “if Iran does not agree to our proposals, it will face consequences.”
Trump further said that the United States would obtain enriched uranium from Iran as part of ongoing efforts by both countries to reach an agreement aimed at ending the war.
