An operations officer from the Highway Patrol Department confirmed that a sudden lane change violation was the cause of yesterday's crash on the Desert Highway, which resulted in 4 deaths and 2 injuries.اضافة اعلان

Speaking to Public Security Radio, he added that violations such as speeding, distracted driving, or tailgating often lead to sudden lane changes.

Earlier, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) stated that rescue and ambulance teams from the Desert Highway Civil Defense Directorate and the police responded yesterday to a vehicle rollover accident in the Al-Jurf area of Ma'an Governorate.

The spokesperson explained that the accident led to the deaths of 4 individuals and injured 2 others, who sustained various fractures, wounds, and bruises; all victims were of Arab nationality.

He added that ambulance crews administered necessary first aid to the two injured individuals before evacuating them and the deceased to Ma'an Government Hospital. The injured are currently receiving medical treatment, and a traffic investigation was opened to determine the circumstances leading to the crash.
