The establishment of these projects follows royal directives that give special attention to education and sports, aiming to improve school environments, provide modern infrastructure for students, and encourage youth participation in sports and community activities.
The inauguration included Hay Al-Matar Mixed Secondary School in Marka District and Al-Yadoudeh Boys’ Secondary School in Qweismeh District. Al-Eisawi unveiled commemorative murals and toured the facilities of both schools, each consisting of four floors.
Hay Al-Matar School has 29 classrooms, while Al-Yadoudeh School has 27 classrooms. Both schools include science and computer labs, a theater, and a five-a-side football field. Hay Al-Matar accommodates 900 students, whereas Al-Yadoudeh serves 1,059 students.
The two new schools, built using prefabricated structures and funded by the Royal Hashemite Court, are fully integrated educational facilities. Their design and construction adhere to the latest standards approved by the Ministry of Education, providing an exemplary educational environment and facilities for extracurricular activities.
Students, teachers, and administrative staff expressed deep appreciation for the royal initiative, which resulted in modern educational institutions that meet the needs of the learning process and provide a comfortable, motivating study environment.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, Amman Governor Yasser Al-Adwan, and directors of education in Marka and Qweismeh districts.
In Madaba, Al-Eisawi inaugurated the regulation football field adjacent to Madaba Boys’ Secondary School. The field was rehabilitated under royal directives issued in April of last year, which included updating the playing surface, constructing stands and fences, and renovating player rooms and sanitary facilities.
The field serves nearby school students, the local community, clubs, and youth events in Madaba. The inauguration was attended by Dr. Mahafzah, Madaba Governor Hassan Al-Jbour, and the Director of Education for Madaba Qasbat District.
Al-Eisawi emphasized that these projects implement royal directives aimed at continuously improving services provided to citizens. He noted that the three royal initiatives in Amman and Madaba were executed under direct royal guidance, reflecting the King’s interest in enhancing public services.
He added that the two new schools are a qualitative addition to the education sector, reflecting the royal vision of developing public schools into institutions that provide a model learning environment.
Al-Eisawi highlighted that both schools are equipped with modern and advanced facilities, including classrooms, science labs, libraries, playgrounds, and other amenities, positively impacting the educational process. Their construction follows the highest modern standards, contributing to the overall development of the teaching and learning process.
He also noted that royal initiatives under the King’s guidance focus on improving infrastructure in the youth and sports sectors. The rehabilitation and development of the regulation football field in Madaba will provide a supportive sports environment for students of nearby schools and serve the youth and sports movement in the governorate.
