In a statement issued on Sunday, the ministry stressed the importance of complying with the health requirements set by the Saudi authorities and visiting approved health centers to obtain a medical certificate before collecting the permit.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah requires the submission of a medical clearance certificate confirming the absence of certain conditions, including failure of a major organ (heart, lungs, liver, or kidneys), neurological or psychological diseases that impair cognition or are accompanied by severe mobility disabilities, senility associated with dementia, pregnancy in the last two months or high-risk pregnancy at any stage, active cancer requiring chemotherapy, biological, or radiotherapy, as well as active infectious diseases that pose a public health risk, such as open tuberculosis (pulmonary TB).
