Foreign ministers of Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt strongly condemned Israel’s illegal decisions and actions aimed at imposing its unlawful sovereignty, consolidating settlements, and establishing a new legal and administrative reality in the occupied West Bank. They warned that these measures accelerate illegal attempts to annex the territory and displace the Palestinian people, reaffirming that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian lands.

The ministers cautioned against the continuation of Israel’s expansionist policies and illegal measures in the West Bank, which fuel violence and conflict in the region.
They expressed their absolute rejection of these illegal actions, emphasizing that they constitute a clear violation of international law, undermine the two-state solution, and infringe upon the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent, sovereign state on the June 4, 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital. The ministers also stressed that such measures undermine ongoing efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.
The ministers affirmed that Israel’s actions in the occupied West Bank are null and void, constituting a clear violation of UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2334, which condemns all Israeli measures altering the demographic composition and character of occupied Palestinian territories since 1967, including East Jerusalem. They also referenced the 2024 advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, which concluded that Israel’s policies and practices in the occupied Palestinian territories are illegal, affirming the necessity to end the Israeli occupation and invalidate any annexation of occupied Palestinian lands.
The ministers renewed their call for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities by compelling Israel to halt its dangerous escalation in the occupied West Bank and the provocative statements of its officials.
They stressed that respecting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination and establishing their state based on the two-state solution, international legitimacy, and the Arab Peace Initiative remains the only path to achieving just and comprehensive peace, ensuring security and stability in the region.
