From the onset of the aggression, Jordan moved on all diplomatic and humanitarian fronts to secure safe corridors for aid delivery into Gaza, establishing itself as the main gateway for relief aid to the Strip through the Jordanian Humanitarian Corridor. This effort brought together national institutions—including the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, the Royal Jordanian Air Force, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and the JHCO—forming a unique model of humanitarian-national integration.
Over the past two years, the JHCO dispatched 201 aid convoys comprising 8,664 trucks loaded with food, medical, and shelter supplies via land crossings, reaching hundreds of thousands of families in Gaza.
Additionally, 53 aircraft were sent in cooperation with the Royal Jordanian Air Force through Al-Arish Airport, delivering over 530 tons of essential supplies.
The JHCO also conducted 564 airdrops inside Gaza in collaboration with the Jordanian Armed Forces and Royal Air Force, alongside partner countries, to ensure aid reached besieged and remote areas. These included 102 helicopter missions carrying precise deliveries of food and medical supplies to hospitals and devastated zones.
Alongside emergency relief, the organization launched several humanitarian projects in partnership with international and local institutions, including:
Water Supply Project, delivering over 21,000 liters of safe drinking water across Gaza.
Hot Meals Initiative, providing nearly 1.5 million meals to families throughout the Strip.
Restoring Hope Program, fitting 637 prosthetic limbs for the injured at Jordan’s field hospitals.
Flour and Bakery Projects, supplying bread for affected families.
Sacrificial Meat Project, benefiting 4,990 individuals.
Distribution of tents and shelter supplies for displaced families whose homes were destroyed.
Over two years, the JHCO signed 177 agreements and commitments with local and international partners, reflecting global trust in Jordan’s humanitarian leadership and operational capability.
In total, the JHCO delivered over 123,396 tons of aid into Gaza through land, air, and humanitarian projects, reaching hundreds of thousands of individuals and families.
JHCO Secretary-General Dr. Hussein Shibli stressed Jordan’s unwavering commitment to Gaza, stating:
“Jordan has always been, and will remain, the humanitarian lifeline for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Over the past two years, we worked through a unified national effort under Hashemite leadership, serving as the bridge between Jordanian goodwill and Palestinian human need.”
He added that as the only officially authorized body to collect donations and carry out relief operations, the JHCO continues to coordinate with international partners and UN agencies to sustain and expand assistance.
The statement concluded by affirming that Jordan will remain steadfast in solidarity, extending its hand to Gaza for as long as the crisis lasts—keeping Jordan’s voice of humanity present across the world.
