His Majesty King Abdullah II participated on Wednesday in the Sun Valley Economic Forum, held in the U.S. state of Idaho, with the participation of global political, economic, and media leaders.

His Majesty, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, held meetings with business leaders and representatives of several major global and American companies operating in the fields of industry and mining, technology, trade and transport, defense, and media.
During the meetings, His Majesty spoke about the importance of Jordan’s economic and administrative modernization efforts in enhancing the Kingdom’s competitiveness and its ability to attract investment. He also highlighted opportunities for building and strengthening economic partnerships.
The Sun Valley Economic Forum is an annual event that discusses global political developments and the resulting economic challenges.
The meetings were attended by the Director of His Majesty’s Office, Engineer Alaa Batayneh.
