King Emphasizes Importance of Engaging All Parties to Exercise Restraint and Resume Negotiations

His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman discussed, in a phone call on Monday, ways to achieve comprehensive de-escalation in the region.اضافة اعلان

During the call, King Abdullah stressed that continued escalation threatens the security and stability of the entire region. He underscored the importance of engaging all parties to exercise restraint and return to negotiations.

His Majesty also noted that peace in the region cannot be achieved without a just and comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution.

King Abdullah reaffirmed the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the delivery of adequate humanitarian aid, and efforts to halt the escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
