The Ministry urged students to deal only with the accredited university service offices listed on its official website, in order to safeguard their rights. It stressed that it follows up on any complaints it receives from students against licensed service offices and will not tolerate any violations committed by them. In the event of receiving a complaint, the Ministry said it will take all necessary measures stipulated in the regulations of university service offices, provided that the student attaches supporting documents with the complaint.
The Ministry also cautioned students against individuals promoting enrollment in fake universities or in institutions not recognized by the Ministry. It called on all students planning to study abroad to verify that the university they intend to join is recognized by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education, noting that a full list of recognized universities by country is available through a

Furthermore, the Ministry emphasized the importance of ensuring that students meet the minimum GPA requirements for the Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) or its equivalent from Arab or foreign systems, in addition to the required stream/field of study, before enrolling in universities abroad. The Ministry highlighted that these requirements must align with the general admission policy for Jordanian universities; otherwise, the student’s degree will not be recognized, nor will they be granted equivalency.
The Ministry added that more details regarding GPA thresholds and conditions for studying abroad are available through a designated
