Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya is taking part in the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum, under way in the Chinese city of Lianyungang.
The forum covers asylum and migration, the use of modern technology against cross-border organised crime, and international cooperation on narcotics. Faraya delivered a keynote address setting out Jordan's contribution to international security work, including its participation in peacekeeping operations and international policing, and its deployment of field hospitals. He also described the Kingdom's role in training police forces across the region and its work with neighbouring states on counter-narcotics.

Faraya pointed to Jordan's investment climate, which he attributed to political and security stability and the country's location.
