Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif discussed regional developments and diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions during a phone call on Sunday.

Sharif expressed Pakistan’s condemnation of the attacks against Saudi Arabia by the Houthi militia and strongly denounced what he described as blatant violations of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He reiterated Pakistan’s full support and solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
The Pakistani prime minister also condemned attacks targeting the Kingdom’s critical oil infrastructure and reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for Saudi Arabia’s security.
Sharif praised Saudi Arabia’s restraint and expressed support for efforts by the Iraqi government to prevent its territory from being used to launch attacks against Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries.
