Eastern Military Region Foils 4 Drug Smuggling Attempts Using Balloons

At dawn on Monday, the Eastern Military Region thwarted four attempts to smuggle large quantities of narcotics carried by balloons guided with primitive devices, along its front and within its area of responsibility.اضافة اعلان




The balloons and their cargo were intercepted and brought down inside Jordanian territory after being detected at several different locations by Border Guard forces, in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities.
