AMMAN — Jordan recorded 741 new cases of COVID-19 and marked 7
new deaths between April 2 and April 8, the 14th epidemiological week, compared
to 1,731 new cases and 17 deaths the preceding week, according to COVID weekly
report.

According to the Ministry of Health, more than 25,000
PCR tests were conducted this week, of which 2.91 were positive.
There are currently 493 active cases in the
Kingdom, with 44 patients having been admitted to the hospital and 83 people
having been discharged. There are currently 74 people currently hospitalized
for COVID-19, the Ministry of Health said.
About 4.7 million people have received their
first dose of the vaccine and 4.4 million have received two.
