His Majesty King Abdullah II on Friday stressed the urgent need to intensify efforts to restore stability in the region, calling on the international community to step up diplomatic efforts to prevent the conflict from expanding.
During joint press remarks with Czech President Petr Pavel in Prague, the King reaffirmed Jordan’s rejection of the continued expansion of Israeli settlements, the escalation of settler violence, forced displacement, and attempts to impose a new reality on the ground. He said these developments collectively pose a direct threat to regional security.
The King stressed that Jordan continues to emphasize the importance of dialogue and respect for international law, while supporting all efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability.
He also affirmed that Jordan will continue taking all necessary measures to safeguard its security and sovereignty and protect the safety of its citizens.
