The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army / Directorate of Military Training announced the start of receiving applications from male and female students wishing to benefit from competitive scholarships at U.S. military academies to pursue a bachelor’s degree in one of the engineering fields in June 2026 for a duration of four years.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the new General Command building / Directorate of Military Training / Military Scholarships Office during official working hours from 9:00 a.m. on September 22, 2025, until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Applicants must bring a copy of their General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) transcript or an equivalency from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a copy of their national ID, and a 5-dinar application fee.

Eligibility requirements include:
High proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening). Applicants must score at least 80% on the English Comprehension Level (ECL) test and at least 80% on the international TOEFL exam.
Passing the SAT with a minimum score of 600 in math and 590 in reading and writing, or passing the ACT exam.
Passing the U.S.-standard physical fitness test.
Passing the required medical examination.
Jordanian nationality only, and unmarried at the time of acceptance and throughout the study period.
Age between 18–22 years by December 31, 2025.
A minimum average of 80% in the scientific stream of the Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate or an equivalent certificate approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Selected candidates will be recruited as military cadets and provided with all necessary study requirements, including training, accommodation, food, and travel tickets.
