Army Foils Two Drug-Smuggling Attempts Using Balloons

The Eastern Military Zone announced that, at dawn on Monday, it thwarted two attempts to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics along its border within its area of responsibility. The drugs were being transported using balloons equipped with primitive guiding devices.اضافة اعلان

The balloons were tracked in two different locations, intercepted, and brought down inside Jordanian territory by Border Guard forces in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities.
