Al-Qadi: Statements by the U.S. Ambassador to the Occupation Threaten Regional Security
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, stated that the House rejects the remarks made by the U.S. Ambassador to the occupation state. He described the statements—which discuss "delusions" justifying Israeli control over Arab lands—as provocative, a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter, and a dangerous infringement on state sovereignty.اضافة اعلان

Al-Qadi delivered the following speech at the beginning of the House session on Monday:

"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Peace and blessings be upon our Master Muhammad, the Truthful and Trustworthy, and upon all the Prophets and Messengers.

Distinguished Colleagues,
We reject the statements issued by the U.S. Ambassador to the occupation state, which involve delusions that purport to justify Israeli control over Arab lands and open the door to further extremism and criminality. These are provocative remarks that represent a flagrant violation of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and a grave threat to the sovereignty of states.

We, in the House of Representatives, affirm that the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are Palestinian territories over which Israel has no sovereignty, nor does it have sovereignty over any occupied Arab land. Furthermore, propositions based on religious narratives are rejected, as they undermine the chances of achieving a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.

The issuance of such statements by an official representing a major power that presides over the peace council places his country within a discourse that threatens regional security and stability, fueling extremism and conflict instead of contributing to their containment.

While the House of Representatives commends the unified official Arab and Islamic positions rejecting these statements, it calls upon the international community to uphold its responsibilities in protecting the principles of international law and preventing any attempts to impose a fait accompli or legitimize the occupation.

The House reaffirms its unwavering stance behind His Majesty King Abdullah II in defending Jordan's supreme interests and protecting the nation's sovereignty. Jordan has been and will remain resilient against all ambitions, fortified by the will of its leadership and the awareness of its people. We always remember with pride the heroism of our Arab Army, whose personnel wrote pages of glory and dignity with their pure blood. Their sacrifices remain a timeless testament that this nation does not break; it stands firm in its positions, defending the causes of its Ummah—foremost of which are the inalienable and non-negotiable rights of the Palestinian people until our brothers attain their freedom and establish their independent state on their national soil.

Peace and blessings be upon you all."
