Al-Qadi: Passing the Execution of Palestinian Prisoners Law is a Full-Fledged Crime
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, asserted that the passing of the law to execute Palestinian prisoners constitutes "retaliatory legislation" that entrenches racism. He stated that it serves as a public display of brutality and discrimination practiced by the occupation’s government and parliament, representing a blatant disregard for human rights and a dangerous slide toward further extremism and state terrorism.اضافة اعلان

In a statement issued on behalf of the House of Representatives, Al-Qadi described the legislation as a "full-fledged crime" and a flagrant violation of International Humanitarian Law, the Geneva Conventions, and all international charters related to human rights. He highlighted that the law directly targets Palestinian detainees and threatens the lives of thousands by transforming detention centers into arenas for executions under a "false legal cover."

He further noted that this law establishes a dangerous phase of impunity and consolidates a discriminatory system, placing the international community before a true test of its legal and moral responsibilities. Al-Qadi called upon relevant international institutions to fulfill their mandates, take immediate and effective action to halt this serious violation, implement deterrent measures to hold the occupation authorities accountable, and work toward providing urgent international protection for the prisoners.

The Speaker affirmed his support for all legal movements aimed at exposing this "criminal law" and its practices. He urged parliaments worldwide to take urgent action to freeze the Knesset’s membership in international parliamentary forums, foremost among them the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), arguing that such legislation represents a total breach of all parliamentary and humanitarian values.
