911 response time cut to three seconds

A police spokesperson said Monday that emergency communication efforts are geared towards maintaining a speedy response to any call without neglecting any observation, stressing that the time of three seconds will not be at the expense of ensuring that the information is passed to the responsible personnel.

The source added that the evaluation and development process is ongoing to ensure the quality of service through the 911 emergency line. In addition, a new emergency number will be launched for all smart devices, including the provision of service for the deaf.
