This comes under the Royal Initiative “Restoring Hope,” as part of the efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to support and assist the residents of the Strip.
The hospital’s commanding officer said that the medical teams from the Royal Medical Services, operating under the Royal Initiative “Restoring Hope,” receive patients and visitors who are limb amputees, making every effort to alleviate their suffering and bring smiles to their faces.
For his part, the hospital director stated that the process of fitting prosthetic limbs for amputees is overseen by a qualified and specialized team with the highest levels of competence and professionalism, noting that this highly precise procedure is completed in record time.
A prosthetics specialist added, “We work on fitting both lower and upper prosthetic limbs for amputees after carefully assessing each patient’s condition to enable them to regain mobility quickly, with the fitting process taking as little as one hour.”
It is worth noting that the “Restoring Hope” initiative was launched under Royal directives to support limb amputees. Since its inception, 535 upper and lower prosthetic limbs have been fitted for people of various age groups, enabling beneficiaries to return to their normal lives as quickly as possible.
