Jordanian Takaya Project in Gaza Provides Around 1,043,920 Hot Meals Since the Start of the Crisis

Amman – The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) continues to implement the hot meals and food kitchens project in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the crisis, with generous support from the Jordanian Campaign in Support of Gaza, the Good Jordan Endowment for Development, the Irbid Chamber of Commerce, the Jordanian Support Zakat Committee, along with individual and institutional donors who have come together to secure the necessary funding and ensure the sustainability of this vital initiative to support the people of Gaza.اضافة اعلان









The project is carried out daily, providing hundreds of hot meals and distributing them directly to affected families in displacement camps, hospitals, and schools that have turned into shelters. This ensures that food reaches the most vulnerable groups amid the unprecedented and dire humanitarian conditions in the strip.

The JHCO affirmed that the continuity of the project since the outbreak of the crisis reflects Jordan’s steadfast commitment to supporting the resilience of the people of Gaza by providing regular daily meals. It has thus become one of the most important relief interventions that combine both immediate response and sustainable continuity.

In this context, Secretary-General of the JHCO Dr. Hussein Shibli said that the hot meals and Takaya project is a renewed Jordanian humanitarian initiative based on donor support and the trust of local partners.

He explained that through this project, Jordan reaches hundreds of families daily in displacement areas, hospitals, and schools inside Gaza, confirming that “we have not and will not abandon our brothers and sisters in their most difficult times.”

Shibli stressed that the continuation of this project is a message of humanitarian solidarity that transcends all challenges and embodies the values of compassion and generosity that distinguish Jordan’s leadership and people.
