Vehicles working on Amman–Baghdad road to get 6-month multiple entry visas

AMMAN — The Ministry of Transport stated that the public transport vehicles on Amman–Baghdad road, whether Jordanian or Iraqi, have been permitted to work through Al-Karama Border Crossing in accordance with the approved health protocols and conditions, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

The ministry added in a statement on Thursday that “in cooperation with all the partners, we agreed to issue entry visas valid for six months for multiple trips to drivers, with the same mechanism applied on Jordanian truck drivers”.

“Drivers can refer to the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Amman to receive their visas,” the statement added.

According to the statement, the Transport Regulatory Commission (TRC) received requests from transport offices to issue visas, and the Ministry of Transport in cooperation with the TRC communicated with the relevant authorities to facilitate the issuance of those visas.
