AMMAN —
Public Security Directorate Director Maj. Gen Hussein Al-Hawatmeh conveyed the greetings of His Majesty
King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the
Jordan Armed Forces, to all public
security officers and personnel on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan,
according to Al-Mamlaka TV.

At an iftar banquet held Tuesday by the PSD on its
premises, Hawatmeh also conveyed His Majesty’s pride in the efforts of officers
and employees from various units and formations to serve the citizens.
Hawatmeh said: “
The Public Security Directorate is
today at the highest levels of readiness and professionalism, thanks to the
Royal support; it has reached record levels of success in all the duties entrusted
to it, and made a difference in the level of service provided to citizens.”
Hawatmeh urged all PSD employees to continue to
apply the law with impartiality, to create an atmosphere of security and to
reassure the community of their support.
He highlighted the great responsibility the PSD
carries in all areas that affect the daily life of citizens, and stressed that
the duties of the personnel are performed honestly and loyally under all
circumstances, and that they play a great humanitarian role.
Hawatmeh urged the employees to continue to carry
out their duties and responsibilities, to provide assistance to all citizens,
and to facilitate their daily activities through appropriate security and
traffic plans throughout the holy month.
