The department stated that the drugs were professionally concealed inside specially prepared metal trays hidden within a truck arriving from a neighboring country.

Jordan Customs reaffirmed its commitment to upholding its institutional values, placing citizens at the center of its priorities, and continuing to fulfill its national duty in combating smuggling—particularly narcotics that threaten the security of the nation and society.

The department urged citizens to promptly report any suspicious activities to help safeguard the community by calling the hotline at 105.
