62,000 Iraqi refugees, 12,751 Yemeni refugees registered in Jordan

AMMAN — A report released by the UNHCR revealed the number of registered refugees in Jordan from various nationalities. According to the report there are over 62,132 registered Iraqi refugees, 7,206 refugees from Sudan, Somalia, and other nationalities, and 12,751 refugees from Yemen, Hala News Reported.اضافة اعلان

No data was released on Palestinian refugees, which are registered with the UNRWA.

Decrease in Syrian Refugees in Jordan in 2023
The UNHCR also revealed a 0.742 percent decrease in the number of Syrian refugees in Jordan since the first of 2023, with a total of 4,908 refugees.

The report indicated that the number of refugees registered with the UNHCR by the end of last July was 656,762 refugees, compared to 661,670 refugees registered in the kingdom at the beginning of 2023.
