“Another massive attack on our cities. More lives taken again,” Zelensky wrote on social media, noting that one of the dead was a child. He said that “today’s Russian missiles and attack drones are a clear response to all those who for weeks and months have been calling for a ceasefire and genuine diplomacy” with Moscow.
According to Ukraine’s Air Force, Russia launched 629 drones and missiles across the country overnight, marking the second-largest single attack since the war began.
The Air Force specified that Moscow fired 598 drones and 31 missiles, including two Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and nine ballistic missiles.
