6 new deaths and 888 new COVID-19 cases

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 888 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, and 6 new deaths, bringing the total death toll to 10,789 and the total caseload to 831,832.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 389 cases, while Zarqa recorded 91 cases. Irbid registered 155 cases, Balqa 57 cases, Karak recorded 15 cases, Jerash 13 cases, and Tafileh 1 new cases, while Madaba registered 21 new cases, Aqaba 40, and Ajloun 27.

The ministry said in a statement that 55 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals Friday, while 81 new cases were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 13,474 according to the ministry. From the 28,802 COVID-19 tests conducted Friday, 3.08 percent came back positive.
