Jordan records 8 COVID deaths on Thursday

AMMAN  — Jordan recorded 1,027 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, in addition to 8 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,718 and the caseload to 823,919.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 427 cases, while Zarqa recorded 84 cases.

Irbid registered 143 cases, while Balqa recorded 69 cases.

Karak recorded 43, Jerash recorded 26 cases, and Tafileh recorded 15.

Madaba registered 11 cases, Aqaba 80, and Ajloun 32.

The ministry added in a statement that some 67 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 62 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,546 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.27 percent of the 31,384 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
