Jordan records 8 COVID deaths Thursday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 913 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, in addition to 8 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,654 and the caseload to 817,487.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 339 cases, while Zarqa recorded 116 cases.

Irbid registered 137 cases, while Balqa recorded 39 cases.

Karak recorded 34, Jerash recorded 26 cases, and Tafileh recorded 35.

Madaba registered 15 cases, Aqaba 41, and Ajloun 30.

Mafraq registered 52 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 67 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 77 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,273 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2.98 percent of the 30,650 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
