Jordan records 12 deaths on Friday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 841 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, in addition to 12 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,454 and the caseload to 799,825.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Friday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 401 cases, while Zarqa recorded 121 cases.

Irbid registered 108 cases, while Balqa recorded 52 cases.

Karak recorded 15, Jerash recorded 32 cases, and Tafileh recorded 18.

Madaba registered 8 cases, Aqaba 12, and Ajloun 22.

Mafraq registered 25 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 76 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 80 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 11,737 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.31 percent of the 25,379 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
